Build on Basics!

Do you want to get stronger? Do you want to gain more confidence in your yoga poses? Would you like to gain the physical skills and strength required to advance your yoga practice?

The Yoga Foundations Series is designed to build on the basics you learned in the Yoga for Beginners Series or to refine and make progress in your existing yoga practice. This mixed levels class serves as a bridge from the Beginners Series to more rigorous studio classes such as Ashtanga, Core Flow, Yoga Sculpt, and Vinyasa Flow as we will focus on strength building and endurance.

While some students are ready to jump right into other studio classes after the Beginners Series, we want to offer an in-between. We want to provide a class for students to focus on technique, physical skills, and strength - a class where you can continue to build confidence in foundational yoga poses. This is also a great option for students who are already physically fit from another form of exercise but want to learn more about yoga before attending Flow classes.

What will you learn? 

  • In depth practice of Sun Salutations A, B, C and variations of these flows

  • Transitions from one pose to another

  • Breathing techniques

  • Introduction to Sanskrit names

  • More seated and standing poses 

  • Exposure to vinyasa flows that incorporate poses such as side plank, bridge pose, and boat variations

  • You will gain confidence in your yoga practice that will allow you to enter any yoga class.

  • Linking one breath per pose, connecting breath with movement of the body

  • June 7th - July 5th

  • Thursdays from 7:15pm - 8:15pm


  • $40 for all 5 sessions in series

  • $10 to drop in (if space allows)
