Beginners Series

The Yoga for Beginners Series is an excellent way to begin your yoga practice!  We provide a safe, friendly atmosphere that allows you to move at your own pace.  We start with the basics so you learn the fundamentals of yoga poses.  Our relaxed atmosphere allows you to ask questions along the way while still giving you an opportunity to build strength and flexibility.  

We also provide summary sheets at the end of each class so you can practice at home if you'd like!


Am I too old?  Do I weigh too much? Do I have the right clothes?  Are my muscles too tight?  Will my injury get in the way? Do men do yoga? We’ve received all of these questions at some point since we’ve opened.  At SYC, we believe that yoga is for everybody and every body. We have people of all shapes, sizes, fitness levels, and genders join our classes.  All you need to do is have the courage to show up.  We’ll provide the mat, encouragement, and instruction you need to begin your yoga journey.

How much?

  • 5 weeks Yoga Series = $50 (non-refundable, non-transferable)*

  • Can’t make the entire series?  $12 drop in ($10 drop-in for military or teachers)  Please contact us before dropping in as our series sell out, so space might not be available for drop-ins.

  • *Please note, this series sells out and has a wait list.  Due to these full classes, we cannot offer refunds or transfer the paid series to another session. Please ensure you can attend the series before reserving your mat space.
