Pilates

Sundays, 4:15 - 5:15 pm.

Pilates is a method of conditioning the body from the inside out.  We will practice the full range of Pilates mat-work.  Expect to be challenged no matter your level.  Much like Yoga, Pilates can be modified so all can participate safely while maximizing benefit and results.  We will focus on the whole body on every plane: strength, flexibility, coordination, stability, and balance.  The Benefits of Pilates include long and lean legs and hips, increased spinal mobility and strength, sculpted arms, improved balance and coordination, decreased pain, improved posture, increased lung capacity, and with diligence, toned abdominals.

Restorative Yoga

Sundays, 5:30 - 7:00 pm.

This class focuses on poses that promote rest, relaxation, restoration, and rejuvenation. Restorative postures help relieve the effects of chronic stress brought on by daily fast-paced activities. This practice is designed to restore the nervous system and help release deeply held tensions in the body and mind.  Props are used to support each posture, allowing gentle stretching and release.  This class is designed for all levels.

* This class is limited to 15 people, so please register in advance. Please check MindBody for Sunday offerings of this class.

Yoga Sculpt

Mondays, 9 am

Tuesdays, 7:15 pm

This interval class is for all levels and designed to strengthen major muscle groups and improve cardiovascular fitness. It includes alternating bursts of intense activity with intervals of lighter activity. The exercises will improve your yoga practice and keep you functionally fit.  The class will end with gentle yoga and savasana.

Slow Flow

Mondays, 10:15 am

Thursdays,  7:15 pm

The slow flow class is for all levels, even beginners and those new to yoga. Focusing on mindfully transitioning between postures, a gentle warm-up is followed by flowing asanas. We will hold postures that cover the entire body, focusing on the breath.  This class is soft and smooth but also challenging.

Story Time Yoga

Times Vary - check our schedule for updates!

Parents, guardians, aunts and uncles, grandparents, and babysitters! Join us on your mat with your little ones (birth through kindergarten) at Story Time Yoga!  We will get our wiggles out, read a story, act out the story through a yoga sequence, and tidy up our space together. Our yoga sequences can be done on your own mat or sharing your mat with even the youngest children.

A few notes: Guardians of infants may want to bring an infant seat in case your wee ones get tired before you do. Remember to take the week off if your child seems sick. Expect a bit of organized chaos, lots of giggles, and plenty of time to interact with your kiddos! For kids who need a change of pace, there will be a box of coloring supplies and science-y toys to explore.

Yoga For Beginners

Mondays, 6:00 pm

This class is perfect for people who are brand new to yoga! We take time to break down yoga poses so you can learn yoga fundamentals in a safe and supportive environment.  Don't worry about your age or fitness level.  We highly recommend that students take advantage of the discounted 4 week series so they can learn the fundamentals of basic yoga poses.  Every journey has a beginning!

Ashtanga Led Vinyasa

Mondays, 7:15 pm

Ashtanga is a challenging, flowing style of Hatha yoga developed by Sri Pattabhi Jois. It consists of a fixed sequence of postures, designed to cultivate strength, flexibility, endurance, and a sense of stillness to the mind.  This first series of Ashtanga challenges you to maintain the breath and includes many sun salutations (vinyasa) throughout followed by forward bends, balance and standing poses, then ending in seated poses. This class is led. Finishing poses will vary due to the one hour length. This challenging practice is open to all levels and intermediate practitioners will be offered more advanced variations so everyone can discover their growing edge.

Gentle Yoga

Tuesdays, 6:00 pm

This class is perfect for all levels. Move slowly and intentionally through gentle asanas (poses) to release tension from tight muscles.

Core Flow

Thursdays, 6:00 pm

This class is a fusion of Vinyasa Flow, core work, and strength training using only body weight. You will see variations of Sun Salutations, lunges, squats, pilates, and flow. Some yoga experience or fit beginners.

Yin Yoga

Wednesday, 7:15 pm

Yin Yoga focuses on the connective tissues in the body, using longer held postures that promote stillness awareness. This style of yoga is a perfect complement to the more yang styles of exercise (vinyasa flow yoga, running, Zumba, etc.) as it addresses tightness and toxin buildup in the body.  The result is more lubricated, flexible joints, increased range of motion, and a greater sense of balance, peace, and calm of the mind.  Props make this a practice accessible to both beginners and advanced practitioners.

Hatha

Wednesdays, 6:00 pm

This stationary yoga class does not incorporate vinyasa flows.  It is an alignment-based practice that focuses on the forms and actions within yoga postures.  Poses are held for longer periods in accurate alignment with emphasis placed on core strength, flexibility, and balance. This style of yoga provides a great stretch while strengthening the body, and is perfect for all levels of yoga practitioners.

Fortify & Restore

Fridays, 9:30 am

This class will start with a slow centering sequence to quiet the mind and stretch the body, then pick up speed with fire-building vinyasa sequences to strengthen and warm the muscles, and end with long-held yin style postures before a lengthened savasana. This well-rounded class is offered to all levels of yoga experience as great way to start your day with both sweat AND restoration.

Fiery Flow

Saturdays, 9:00 am

In this vinyasa (flow) class you will build energy and heat as we flow through a series of asanas (poses), designed to strengthen, stretch and balance your body. The faster paced flow provides an opportunity to challenge your stamina.  This class is appropriate for students with some yoga experience.

Saturday Slow-Down

Saturdays, 10:15 am

This is a gentle hug for your body, combining stationary and slowly flowing asanas (poses) to stretch and balance you after the work week. You’ll leave feeling relaxed and refreshed, and ready for the weekend. Yogis of all levels are welcome.
