Certified Yoga Instructor
I started doing yoga in 2008 while in college and looking for a way to mix up my workouts, but quickly fell in love with the stress relieving benefits that came with it. I completed my 200 hour YTT in 2017 at Dave’s Astanga Yoga in Scottsdale, Arizona before moving to North Carolina and completing Warriors at Ease training to work with military and veteran communities in early 2018. I recently completed my Master’s degree in Military Psychology and will soon begin working on a Doctor of Psychology degree in Health Psychology, with the goal of using my education and training together to bring the benefits of yoga and meditation to the military community. I like teaching both challenging and relaxing classes, often finding a balance between the two, and I love to incorporate moments of meditation into my classes. When I’m not doing yoga you can find me hanging out with my dog Meeko, hiking and exploring this new state we call home!
